A few notable moments include:💎 Listening to and learning from Warren Buffet, Greg Abel and Ajit Jain as they discussed first-quarter earnings, answered questions and shared their outlook on the upcoming year💎 Talking to @CNBC about trends in consumer behavior, lab-grown vs. natural-grown and store productivity💎 Connecting with other CEOs and executives to share ideas and learningsThe first meeting without Charlie Munger left a noticeable gap, but, as I reflect on this event, I'm filled with confidence in Berkshire and deeply grateful to be part of such an incredible organization. I’m excited to channel this energy to propel Helzberg Diamonds forward in the year ahead.

As we celebrate Mother’s Day, I am deeply thankful for the significant women in my life, particularly the profound impact of my wife and mom. Their strength, compassion and resilience continue to inspire me daily. This Mother’s Day, Helzberg Diamonds honors the spirit of motherhood in a special partnership with . We are proud to introduce the ‘Linda’ pendant, named in honor of Linda Pauling. Linda, a co-founder of Make-A-Wish and the original wish mom, has been a beacon of courage and selflessness. Her efforts have enabled countless children and families to experience the joy of wishes coming true. The Linda pendant is available in our Missouri and Kansas stores, with part of the proceeds going to Make-a-Wish Missouri & Kansas.We dedicate this initiative to all mothers and mother figures, celebrating the enduring love and guidance they provide. As a culture-focused organization, we live our #Family core value and like to have a little fun while we work. New York Jewelry Week ✔It was a busy, but fulfilling week attending dinners, luncheons and meetings.First stop was the CNBC CEO Council dinner. This was a special celebration in honor of #WomensHistoryMonth, where we recognized women business leaders who are overcoming obstacles, seeing things differently and inspiring others to do the same, while ultimately transforming how business is done. I am reminded of the great women leaders we are fortunate to have at Helzberg Diamonds, and the great women leaders whom I’ve had the chance to work for. Next up was the Jewelers Vigilance Committee annual luncheon and the 24 Karat Club annual banquet. Both events gave us great opportunities to celebrate leaders who have shaped the industry. I was especially in awe of Valeriya Guzema, Ukrainian businesswoman, jewelry designer, and philanthropic activist who shared her story about the impact of the Russian sanctions.In addition to all these events, I made time to meet with key suppliers and partners and visited a few Helzberg Diamonds stores to check in with our amazing sales associates. The opportunity to visit with associates helps me better understand how things are going and how we can better support our customers.My time in NYC reminded me how vibrant and enriching the jewelry industry is and allowed me to reflect on the things and events that matter most in our lives. I’m coming back inspired by all the amazing leaders and partners. Although busy, I couldn’t leave without a walk in Central Park and a couple of Broadway shows.
