#10: Meruem
Hunter x Hunter (2011-14)
Given that he was literally born to be king, Meruems power seems ingrained in his very being. The king of Chimera Ants, Meruem exudes a powerful aura, with his strength terrifying most beings he encounters. Gifted with boundless strength, speed, and a nearly unparalleled intellect, Meruem is basically unmatched in physical combat or other contests - with some exceptions. While he begins his life as a monster, Meruems true kingliness reveals itself through his love for Komugi, a blind human girl. His life may be short, but Meruem lived up to his name, which means the light that illuminates all.
#9: Gilgamesh
Fate franchise (2006-)
He may technically be a Servant, but Gilgamesh rules over all he surveys! Blessed with arrogance in proportion to his strength, this legendary king of heroes never hesitates to denigrate everyone he sees as beneath him - which is basically everyone. And we cant blame him! Gilgamesh possesses nearly everything the world has to offer in his storehouses. That includes other heroes noble phantasms, giving him an overwhelming advantage in battle. Gilgameshs impressive presence commands attention practically every time hes on screen. What else would you expect from the hero of the original epic?
#8: Escanor
The Seven Deadly Sins (2014-21)
Many characters are proud of their power, but Escanor practically is pride! The Lions Sin of Pride contends that he stands above all others, and its hard to argue otherwise! Although meek and timid at night, when the suns out, Escanors guns, power, and swagger come out as well. Through his Sunshine magic, Escanor can launch devastatingly hot attacks that burn as hot as a star. He may not technically be the protagonist of The Seven Deadly Sins, but Escanor is never one to accept the destiny others decide for him, and brings main character energy to his every action! Like the sun itself, his world revolves around him!
#7: Jiren
Dragon Ball Super (2015-18)
He may look like a roided-out gray alien, but Jiren has an undeniable presence throughout the Tournament of Power. Heck, he spends a good portion of it just standing there ominously with his arms crossed, and everyone is still hyping him up! But once he enters the fray, the most prideful of Pride Troopers proves an insurmountable wall to the other competitors. His power eclipses the strength of some Gods of Destruction, and he wrecks seasoned fighters left and right! You know Jirens strong when Goku obtaining a new form and teaming up with Freeza only barely defeats him!
#6: Aizen Sousuke
Bleach (2004-)
Dont judge a book by its cover! While Aizen may look like a bookish Shinigami captain at first, he soon reveals himself to be a mastermind villain of the highest order. His ability to perfectly hypnotize anyone who sees his swords release has everyone dancing in the palm of his hand. But even without that overpowered ability, he practically styles all over every one of his opponents, turning his nominal former peers into absolute jokes! Plus, once he drops the act, Aizens natural charisma shines through even more - the glasses were holding him back.
#5: Kibutsuji Muzan
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (2019-)
Time and experience can bring many things, and after living for a millennium, this progenitor of demons has acquired both unparalleled strength and drip without equal! Muzan can survive enormous explosions, losing his head, and just about anything else thrown at him. Not only that, the OG demon makes his subordinates and most of the demon slayers out to kill him look downright weak by comparison. And while he may owe plenty of inspiration for his fit to Michael Jackson, he still has plenty of aura all his own. Muzan may not have conquered the sun (yet), but he can overcome just about everything else - and do it in style too!
#4: Uchiha Madara
Naruto Shippuden (2007-17)
The legend of this Uchiha clan leader is built up for most of this anime. Someone else impersonating him is enough to start a war! And when he finally is resurrected, he lives up to his reputation! Madara spends most of his screen time flexing on armies, ninja village leaders (both living and dead), and the protagonists alike! Hes the best of the best, and he knows it. Madaras power is such that some question whether hes a god. We wont go as far as worship him, but we have to pay our respects to a ninja with an aura this impressive!
#3: Hanma Yuujirou
Baki franchise (2001-)
He may lack special powers, but Bakis dad is anything but human! Yuujirou is often regarded as the strongest creature on Earth, and just encountering him is enough to impress that fact upon everyone he meets! Skilled fighters are fodder for him! When the earth quakes, he tells it to settle down! The United States even surrendered to him! Yuujirou is utterly extra in everything he does, whether it be swimming, making an entrance, or parenting. The Ogre may not be winning father of the year, but when hes this powerful, we dont think anyone would deny him if he wanted the award.
#2: Shanks
One Piece (1999-)
There are many powerful characters with charisma in this long running pirate story, yet few of them have the same mystique as Shanks. The mentor of protagonist Monkey D. Luffy, Shanks may make only sporadic appearances through most of One Piece, but he always brings the hype! His aura, or rather Haki, is strong enough to knock out veteran pirate crews and make Marine admirals reconsider their life choices - even from miles away! Shanks and his crew rolled up to one of the biggest wars seen yet in the series and told everybody to stop - and they all listened! The few times the red-haired Emperor has taken a swing at someone have proven why nobody wants his smoke!
#1: Gojo Satoru
Jujutsu Kaisen (2020-)
The worlds strongest sorcerer, Gojo is HIM! The Jujutsu teacher is the benchmark by which everything in the series is measured - he is the metagame! His Domain Expansion leaves his foes overwhelmed with awe. Gojos cursed techniques turn even the most threatening enemies into pancakes! Hes both figuratively and literally almost untouchable! Plus, Gojos got rizz almost literally coming out of his unfathomably gorgeous eyes and hes hysterical to boot! Given how impressive his aura is, its a wonder anyone else in JJK gets any shine at all! Throughout heaven and earth, he alone is the honored one!
