The 2019 Nissan Sentra is a good used-car value, offering a spacious interior, comfortable ride, and large trunk space. But it excels at nothing in particular.

Used 2019 Nissan Sentra Buyer’s Guide - VehicleHistory (1)

The Good

The 2019 Nissan Sentra offers a spacious interior, comfortable ride, and large trunk space. The upgraded SR Turbo and NISMO versions provide some added thrills thanks to their more powerful engines.

The Bad

The base trims feature a weak engine with glacial performance and a CVT transmission that’s vague. Inside, ride and handling are unrefined and the infotainment system is outdated. It offers an overall uninspiring drive.

The Bottom Line

With so many choices available in the small sedan category, the Sentra lacks anything extraordinary to make it stand out. A price that’s a bit less than a used Civic or Corolla is the only thing that might cause you to consider it over its rivals.

Positive Owner Reviews

Maidelys D

This car will suit old my needs.

I love all the inside detail. It's good on gas. Braking is good. I love that it comes with a back up camera. Overall this car will suit all my needs to get me back and forth to work and vacation. Personally I feel that my car is as it should be, it has the necessary technology to drive safely and more comfortably. On long trips it is very comfortable, now enough gasoline. This car is not a sports car, it is not a high end luxury car, but it has a sporty look, and it has a luxury looking interior, well appointed co*ckpit, everything is in easy reach, and it does not look at all like a piece of plastic that gauges are thrown into, so if you like a reliable car with flair, with a fair price this is the way to go.

Close up warning smooth driving.

Very reliable, smooth driving. My car is black and very roomy, I am a large lady and I have plenty of room. I love the hands free. I use the cruise control all the time. It will get up and go when I need it to also. If I get too close to another car it will let me know, love that.

Marvin G

The vehicle is interesting at all you really don't need anything it was designed.

The car is spacious comfortable with warning sensors in front and alongside with technology . With a body style the cost is good investment to last a long time at an affordable cost, I like damping system the ingine how smooth the parts are heard is economical to repair any wear that has.

Amy K

2019 Nissan sentra is a great family car.

The only problem I would say about the car and it's not even a big problem would be the backup camera. It is a little blurry and it doesn't help guide you in the direction backing up or it doesn't beep when you get close to an object. The car drives so smooth. It is such a great family car.

Brianne B

Awesome it is the perfect family car.

I have had my car for a little over a year now and I love it. It is easy to drive. Has a backup camera which comes in handy. It is white. Has great outer and inner interior. Fits 5 people. Large trunk space. Leased at only 800 miles. Very pleased. You would be too.

2019 Nissan sentra s: a positive review.

This is the first car I have bought new, so a lot of the features are new to me. I listen to a lot of music so the fact that it has Bluetooth connection is very convenient. The car has not had any problems since we bought it, and immediately after purchasing we made a trip from East Texas to the coast of California, and it was great on gas and a very smooth ride considering everything we had in the car. Overall this is a very nice car for a very good price and if I had to do it over again I'd buy this car every time.

Gabby H

This car is extremely comfortable and easy.

I absolutely love my car because it is extremely easy to drive and super duper comfortable. I feel like it is the perfect kind of car for a college student who has to drive a long distance often. I have enjoyed all of my time with this car. It is my perfect choice for anyone.

Tammy L

2019 Nissan sentra. Snowflake white.

Smooth ride. Nice features. Easy to use digital features. USB capability so you can play your own playlist. Electric windows. Leather heated seats. Safety feature to let you know when you are too close to a vehicular or if one is coming up beside you. Making it safer to change lanes.

Negative Owner Reviews

Meagan D

Very disappointing to say the least.

The car itself is not bad, drives smoothly. The features are very basic. Nothing spectacular. Not really a huge fan of Nissan. For a 24,000 dollar car I feel like I could have definitely found something better for my buck that I would actually enjoy more. Only thing I'll say I like is that it is great on gas. 22 bucks gets me a full tank.

Worst Car Ever

(NJ) I got my NEW 2019 Nissan this past August. Everything was fine until 3 weeks later my stereo kept crashing. I took to my dealership and they told me I was pressing buttons and didn’t believe me. They did a diagnostic test, couldn’t find anything. I left upset! It continued to crash , so my next day off I went to Nissan again! I yelled at everyone because I pay toooooooo much money for this car to be acting this way. Then one of the service employees told me my iPhone 10 max wasn’t compatible for my car. They just say anything so they won’t replace the stereo. So I put a claim in to corporate and complained about them. Few days later the service manager emailed me and said they’ll replace it. Cool, right? No. The new one crashes as well. I’m so over this. DONT BUY THIS CAR!!!!! I’m highly dissatisfied. Now they’re telling me I have to record while I’m driving to prove to them the new one crashes. I’m so done with this place!

Starts by itself without remote start option

Absolutely not. The electrical system in this car is a nightmare, It starts by itself, and doesn't have remote start, in store and over intercom was told my car is running and window's down twice, my neighbors have sat laughing watching the window's go up and by themselves, stereo coming on full blast when were in the house. Took to dealer after 2nd day, nothing wrong, took back 3 other times, nothing wrong, got attorney for LEMON LAW suit. Now wife put in park and it rolled into my garage door, what next it drives itself???? Nissan refuses to acknowledge a problem even with sworn statements.

Sharon

Whole car is important

I bought the car with 10 miles on it and brought it back less then a week later telling them, the radio comes on and off when i am not in car and the windows come up and down an d no key or fob around? They claim nothing is wrong, Brought it in 2 more times, nothing wrong. Also brought in for transmission problems, Nothing wrong!!! I am filing and have with lemon law! DONT BUY IF YOU DONT WANT A LIFTIME OF PROBLEMS

The driving too close alarm. The can't get my keys out of the ignition. Pick one

My Nissan Sentra beeps and shows crash picture a lot. Very distrating as I will be the only car within blocks. The say the screen on the bumper is d***y. I just got it wash and it still does that. The radio dial on the steering wheel is also distracting. It I turn the corner the radio changes channels. No one needs two radio channels within arms reach. Today my key wouldn't come out of the ignition. No matter how I jiggled the steering wheel. I had it in park and the hand brake was on.The keys are still in the ignition. Luckily I have a garage to park it in. Too many gadgits to go wrong. This car is a distracted drive vehicle just waiting for an accident.

Kira C

I would not buy this car again.

The car is to small. The transmission always seems to be running on high rpms. Makes noise when hits bumps. Not satisfied with the craftsmanship. The radio is not good poor quality all around. The only plus is it is good on gas.I would not recommend this car. The payment is way to much for what I am actually getting.

Jesse G

Not a good car for the money.

Not reliable, have had to take it in multiple times for the brake not letting me turn on the car. Underpowered, makes terrible groans when accelerating. Not as efficient as advertised, get worse than the 32 average that is claimed. Android auto freezes up and does not work a lot. Not very comfortable.

Problems

Drove my 2019 Sentra off the lot 2 weeks ago with 8 miles on it. Last week the forward collision warning went out. Warranty covered. Yesterday service engine light came on so back to the Nissan dealer I go. Got a rental for the night. Found out today the cam valve gear is bad. Part ordered but another day in the shop. Two different problems within 2 weeks. Has me scared now!

2019 Nissan Sentra: A Quick Overview

Used 2019 Nissan Sentra Buyer’s Guide - VehicleHistory (2)

  • The 2019 Nissan Sentra offered six trims, two transmissions, and two engines, including a 1.6L turbocharged motor.
  • Pricing for a used 2019 model ranges from $11,000 to $25,000, with the SR offering the most value and performance.
  • The Sentra can average up to 32 combined mpg, which is about average in comparison to its competition.
  • The 2019 Sentra earns a high rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gives it mostly “Good” ratings.
  • There are two open recalls for the 2019 Sentra, for a faulty backup camera and brake lights. Electrical issues and CVT transmission problems have also been reported, but overall the Sentra is a reliable car.

2019 Nissan Sentra’s Six Trim Levels

Used 2019 Nissan Sentra Buyer’s Guide - VehicleHistory (3) The 2019 Nissan Sentra has six available trim levels that include two engine and transmission choices. Regardless of configuration, all Sentras are front-wheel-drive. The S, SV, SL, and SR models get a 1.8-liter inline four-cylinder engine with 124 horsepower and 125 lb.-ft. of torque. Choose the SR Turbo (pictured above) and NISMO versions, and you’ll have a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 188 horsepower and 177 lb.-ft. of torque. The NISMO and S come standard with a six-speed manual, with a CVT as an option. All other trims feature the CVT transmission as the only choice. Here are more details on each trim:

Sentra S

Choose the basic S if you need only elementary transportation. The Sentra S features 16-inch steel wheels with wheel covers, cloth upholstery, a four-speaker audio system, Bluetooth, a USB port, a five-inch instrument cluster display, keyless entry, a seven-inch touchscreen, automatic headlights, and a rearview camera.

Sentra SV

The SV adds 16-inch alloy wheels, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a six-speaker audio system, two additional USB ports (for a total of three), keyless start, the larger seven-inch display, and dual-zone climate control. Newly available on the SV is a Special Edition package for 2019. It includes 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, rear disc brakes (as opposed to the base model’s drums), power sliding glass moonroof with tilting feature, and unique badging. You’ll appreciate the additional standard equipment on the SV, such as the keyless start that makes daily driving less of a chore.

Sentra SR & SR Turbo

The SR trim features 17-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, heated side mirrors, side sills, a rear spoiler, a chrome-tipped exhaust pipe, and LED low-beam headlights. Adding the Premium Package to your SR will get you all of the standard equipment from the range-topping SL. Opting for the SR Turbo brings some additional dynamic enhancements such as a revised power-steering system, 10%-stiffer front springs, revised front and rear dampers, and slightly larger front brake rotors. The SR offers the look of the SR Turbo but has the 1.8-liter naturally aspirated engine.

Sentra NISMO

NISMO stands for “Nissan Motorsport,” and it’s a name you might associate more with Z cars or the mighty GT-R. On the 2019 Sentra, you’ll get both performance and stylistic improvements, but don’t expect this trim to turn the Sentra into a mini 370Z. A sport-tuned suspension, 18-inch alloy wheels, all-season performance tires, sport seats, heated front seats, an eight-speaker Bose audio system, 5.8-inch touchscreen, and suede-like upholstery help to imbue the 2019 Sentra with some of the old Sentra SE-R spirit.

Sentra SL

The most luxurious trim in the lineup, the Sentra SL brings high-end features such as leather upholstery, an eight-speaker Bose audio system, a moonroof, a power-operated driver’s seat, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. While the SL is a nicely equipped model, you might find that moving up to a Nissan Altima makes more sense at this price point. Granted, the Altima won’t be as well-equipped, but it’s an overall larger, more refined daily driver.

How Much Does a Used 2019 Sentra Cost?

J.D. Power lists the average price of a used 2019 Nissan Sentra at $18,552, with the average mileage of a used 2019 example at $27,310. We can break these prices down further, with the big difference coming from the specified transmission.

  • S Manual: $11,000 – $21,000
  • S CVT: $11,000 – $30,000
  • SV CVT: $11,000 – $32,000
  • SR CVT: $12,000 – $25,000
  • SR Turbo CVT: $16,000 – $25,000
  • NISMO Manual: $23,000 – $24,000
  • NISMO CVT: $20,000 – $25,000
  • SL CVT: $14,000 – $24,000

Certified Pre-owned Program

Nissan does offer a Certified Pre-owned (CPO) program for cars that are no more than six years old and have less than 80,000 miles on them. With a 167-point inspection, you can rest easy knowing that any CPO has been thoroughly checked. What’s more, the initial five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty is extended to seven years/100,000-miles. While Nissan’s CPO program does offer peace of mind, it usually comes at a higher price, as non-CPO Sentras typically sell for a lesser amount.

2019 Nissan Sentra’s Powertrain Options

Used 2019 Nissan Sentra Buyer’s Guide - VehicleHistory (7) There are two engine and two transmission options on the Sentra, both powering solely the front wheels.

1.8-liter Engine

Known as the MRA8DE, the base engine is a 1.8-liter, naturally aspirated unit that’s only available on this generation of Sentra. With an electronic throttle, direct fuel injection, and a Nissan Direct Ignition System, it produces 129 horsepower at 6,400 rpm, and 128 lb.-ft. of torque at 3,600 rpm. It features a timing chain as opposed to a belt for longer life, but the valves need an adjustment around every 60,000 miles. This engine runs on regular fuel.

1.6-liter Turbo Engine

Step up to the Turbo or NISMO trim, and you’ll get the MR16DDT, a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine good for 188 horsepower and 177 lb.-ft. of torque, but it requires premium fuel. In its coverage of the 1.6-liter turbo engine from a previous year of the Sentra, Car and Driver notes, “it does need more rip in the exhaust note… the 1.6 needs to wrap most of the way around the tach in first before meaningful power arrives.” Either engine can be mated to a traditional six-speed manual, or continually variable transmission (CVT). If you’ve never driven this type of transmission before, it can be a bit disconcerting.

How Fuel Efficient is a 2019 Sentra?

All 2019 Sentra models (except SR Turbo and Sentra NISMO) utilize a fuel-efficient 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine mated to an advanced Xtronic transmission. A six-speed manual transmission is also available with the Sentra S grade. The engine offers a longer stroke than typical engines in its class, resulting in improved combustion speed and efficiency. In addition, the valve springs have a strategic shape that helps in reducing inertial weight, which improves valvetrain efficiency and smooths engine operation. The engine is rated at 124 horsepower and 125 lb.-ft. of torque. The Xtronic transmission’s fuel economy is rated at 29 mpg city, 37 highway, and 32 mpg combined. The Sentra S with six-speed manual transmission is rated at 27 mpg city, 35 highway, and 30 mpg combined. Official EPA fuel efficiency ratings for the 2019 Nissan Sentra are as follows:

  • 1.8-L, Automatic: 29 city, 37 highway, 32 combined
  • 1.8-L, Manual: 27 city, 35 highway, 30 combined
  • 1.6-L Turbo, Automatic: 29 city, 27 highway, 33 combined
  • NISMO 1.6L Turbo, Manual: 25 city, 31 highway, 27 combined
  • NISMO 1.6L Turbo, Automatic: 25 city, 30 highway, 27 combined

Nissan Sentra’s Driving Performance

Used 2019 Nissan Sentra Buyer’s Guide - VehicleHistory (8) The Nissan Sentra’s performance is merely average, even when equipped with the Turbo engine. Even the Sentra SV failed to win over Autoweek, which noted in a 2019 review, “The CVT has a nasty way of sucking all of the fun out of this Nissan, and whining mightily about it in the process.” “A refined powertrain, this is not,” added Autoweek. “Small-displacement, low-horsepower, low-torque, naturally aspirated motor, and a CVT has to be the least-enjoyable combo on the planet.”

Cargo Space & Dimensions

Used 2019 Nissan Sentra Buyer’s Guide - VehicleHistory (9) Inside, the 2019 Sentra features one of the largest interiors in its class, with 111.0 cubic feet of total interior volume. Helping make this possible is the long wheelbase (106.3 inches), which provides both ample rear seat legroom of 37.4 inches and large trunk capacity of 15.1 cubic feet. The rear seat is a standard 60/40-split fold-down design, adding versatility to the large trunk space. The interior has room for five passengers and features materials not usually found in compact vehicles, including soft-touch instrument panel and door armrests and available leather-appointed seating. Also there is a full set of LATCH child-seat connectors on each of the Sentra’s outboard rear seats, along with an additional upper tether anchor on the middle rear seat. The IIHS gives the LATCH anchors on the Sentra a “Good” rating. Key interior dimensions:

  • Passenger Volume: 95.9 cu. ft.
  • Front Head Room: 39.4 inches
  • Front Leg Room: 42.5 inches
  • Rear Head Room: 36.7 inches
  • Rear Leg Room: 37.4 inches

How Safe is a 2019 Nissan Sentra?

A number of Nissan’s advanced Safety Shield Technologies were available for the 2019 Nissan Sentra, including Automatic Emergency Braking, Intelligent Cruise Control, Blind-spot Warning, and Rear Cross-traffic Alert. The NHTSA gave the 2019 Nissan Sentra a five-star rating in side-impact testing, and four stars in the frontal and rollover tests, giving the Nissan a four-star rating overall. And the IIHS noted that “Beginning with 2015 models, the front-end structure [was] modified to improve occupant protection in small overlap frontal crashes. Also, the side-curtain airbags were lengthened.” This means that even though this generation of Sentra had been out since 2012, not all of them are created equal in terms of crash testing.

Technology Features

Every Sentra comes standard with a few desirable options such as power windows, a rear-view camera, remote keyless door locks, and heated mirrors. The base stereo has four speakers with a 7.0-inch display. The SV and SR bring keyless ignition, a six-speaker stereo, dual front climate control, satellite radio, USB, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility, and hands-free entry, along with available Intelligent cruise control. Optional on the SR, and included on the SL trim, is the premium package. It offers extras like dual illuminated visor vanity mirrors, blind-spot warning detection, and a Bose premium audio system.

Exterior and Interior Color Options

The NISMO trim is only available in Brilliant Silver Metallic, Gun Metallic, Super Black, or Aspen White, while the base S can only be had in Brilliant Silver Metallic, Gun Metallic, Super Black, Deep Blue Pearl, or Fresh Powder. The NISMO trim adds a few unique touches with red accents on the front and rear fascias, rocker panels, mirrors, steering wheel, seats, and center console. On the inside, we hope you like Charcoal cloth or leather seating, because that’s the only color option. Upper trims receive “sport cloth” and leatherette on the doors.

2019 Nissan Sentra Reviews: Then and Now

Used 2019 Nissan Sentra Buyer’s Guide - VehicleHistory (10)

What Critics Say

Car and Driver

The 2019 Nissan Sentra is like Cream of Wheat: By itself, it’s unexciting and basic in form, but it gets the job done.

U.S. News

The 2019 Nissan Sentra offers a user-friendly infotainment system and roomy cabin, but it ranks toward the bottom of the compact car class because it struggles to match the well-rounded performance and modern cabin styling of its rivals.

Edmunds

The 2019 Nissan Sentra doesn’t attract much attention. It’s not as popular in terms of sales as other top small sedans, and it’s fair to say that its styling isn’t as memorable.

Motor Trend

The aging Nissan Sentra placed last out of seven in a 2016 Big Test for its sloppy steering, lack of power, uncomfortable seats and high cost of ownership according to IntelliChoice data.

Autoweek

The Sentra SV is affordable, and despite the fact that it’s basically a car from 2012 under its skin, Nissan has done a fairly good job of keeping it updated with regard to technology, if not necessarily looks.

The 2019 Sentra was extensively reviewed when it came out, and popular YouTuber “Gold Pony” was one of the first to take it out for a spin. “It’s not the fastest car in the world,” he said after testing the acceleration on the 1.8-liter engine with CVT. “Braking-feel seems perfectly fine, even with the drum rear brakes on the naturally aspirated model.” The suspension “soaks up bumps well,” adds the YouTuber, “and the cabin was quiet on the highway. Steering was slightly numb and loose, while visibility was excellent all around.” Car and Driver wasn’t as impressed, noting in its 2019 review that “the entire driving experience is mushy and vague. And when you need more power, the Sentra is one of the slowest in its class.” But, there are a few positives. “It’s roomy inside [and] the tall driving position gives excellent visibility.”

Current 2019 Sentra Reviews Spotlight an ‘Average’ Car

Used 2019 Nissan Sentra Buyer’s Guide - VehicleHistory (11) So, how well does the 2019 Sentra hold up nearly three years into its time on the roads of America? Here’s what more recent reviews are saying about the 2019 model. In 2020, the YouTube channel 100 Rental Cars reviewed two 2019 Sentra SVs extensively (pictured above). “It feels like the car really has to struggle to get any acceleration,” notes the video host, “but that’s to be expected from a car at this price point.” “Handling is a different matter,” he adds. “I like how Nissans handle in general, and handling in the Sentra at higher speeds is pretty good, with nice responsive control. The turning radius is ok. “You can hear a little bit of wind moving through the vehicle,” says the 100 Rental Cars host. “Cabin noise is noticeable on the highway, and you can hear larger vehicles as you pass them. Overall, it’s average. “I’m not thrilled with it,” he adds. “The technology could be updated, the rear seat space is pretty bad, and it’s just not that much fun to drive.”

Is a 2019 Sentra Cheap to Maintain?

The Sentra requires only basic maintenance, with an oil change every 5,000 miles or six months. Otherwise, it’s typical drive belt inspections around 105,000 miles, where the spark plugs and coolant need to be replaced. Repair Pal lists the annual maintenance cost for a 2019 Nissan Sentra at $491. A newer model Nissan Sentra can last between 250,000 and 300,000 miles, provided it is well maintained, notes the auto site Engine Patrol. “For the average driver doing 15,000 miles a year, this equals 16 to 20 years of service before major repairs are required.”

2019 Nissan Sentra: Recalls and Problems

There have been two recalls on the 2019 model, for exterior lighting and the backup camera. In affected vehicles, the brake lights may not illuminate, which can increase the risk of a collision. The backup camera issue involves a malfunction in the display settings that may fail to display the rear view image. As such, these vehicles fail to meet federal motor vehicle safety standards. Be sure that both of these recalls have been performed on the Sentra you’re looking to purchase. Also, in Vehicle History‘s auto reviews section, 2019 Nissan Sentra S ownerJessica H. mentions a few issues that she experienced after a few years of ownership. In her May 2021 verified owner review, Jessica recalls that her 2019 Sentra “seemed like a decent car when it was purchased. [But I] have had to have a few things replaced: a motion sensor, and left front speaker. There’s always a sound like air is coming through the passenger side window in the backseat. They said the seals are fine, it just sounds like that.”

2019 Nissan Sentra vs. the Competition

The small car market is flooded with great choices. We’ll compare the 2019 Nissan Sentra’s specs to its key competitors, including the Honda Civic, Chevrolet Cruze, and Toyota’s popular Corolla.

2019 Nissan Sentra vs. 2019 Honda Civic

Used 2019 Nissan Sentra Buyer’s Guide - VehicleHistory (12)

The Civic comes in seven trim levels, from the mundane to the ultra sporty, and the biggest change in comparison to the Sentra is an available hatchback body style. A hatch provides a wider opening to the truck, allowing easy access to cargo. There is also a Civic Coupe for those looking for a bit more style. The sedan and coupe can be powered by a standard 158-horsepower, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine or a 174-hp turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder. The regular hatchback comes only with the 1.5-liter engine, and the Civic can get up to 32 city mpg and 42 miles per gallon on the highway. The Civic has better gas mileage and a higher build quality compared to the Sentra. but the Civic’s resale value is higher, so expect to pay more for a used example.

2019 Nissan Sentra vs. 2019 Chevy Cruze

Used 2019 Nissan Sentra Buyer’s Guide - VehicleHistory (13)

The Cruze comes in five trims, and features an available diesel engine option. The base engine is a turbocharged 1.4-liter engine with 153 horsepower and 177 lb.-ft. of torque that powers the front wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission (the manual was discontinued in 2019). It comes in sedan or hatchback, again giving this car an advantage over the Sentra in terms of packaging. Inside, the cabin has seating for four six-footers. Edmunds was happy with the overall quality. “With a glossy black trim center console, faux leather surfaces on the dash, and contrast-color stitching throughout, the Cruze’s cabin looks and feels premium,” they said.

2019 Nissan Sentra vs. 2019 Toyota Corolla

Used 2019 Nissan Sentra Buyer’s Guide - VehicleHistory (14)

The Corolla is also offered as a sedan and hatchback and comes in six trim levels. Most trims are powered by a 132-hp 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine with either a six-speed manual or CVT. The LE Eco has a 140-hp version of the same engine that is tuned for more fuel efficiency, and the Corolla gets up to 40 mpg on the highway. Inside, the Corolla features a 7.0-inch display on higher trims, similar to the Sentra, along with CarPlay and Android integration. Rear-seat space in limited, and the overall comfort of the interior lags behind rivals. A Corolla is basic transportation, perhaps even more so than the Sentra. However, it offers stellar reliability and resale value on par with the Honda Civic.

To see a more detailed side-by-side comparison between these vehicles, check out this Vehicle History coverage.

Is a 2019 Nissan Sentra a Good Purchase?

Used 2019 Nissan Sentra Buyer’s Guide - VehicleHistory (15) The Sentra doesn’t offer a significant price advantage on the used-car market. Even with the turbo engine, its performance isn’t up to par with its rivals. Fuel economy is average, as is what the Sentra offers feature-wise. While CarPlay integration is an excellent upgrade for 2019, most of the competition had it years before. A few positives for the Sentra are a roomy cabin and best-in-class cargo-hauling ability. A lower used-car price point and a high safety rating also add points in its favor.

However, a used Nissan Altima is just slightly more expensive yet has much more room and capability. Consider this as an option if you’d like to stick with the Nissan family. If you’re staying in the small car market, consider a Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, or Chevrolet Cruze. All offer a combination of price, performance and value that the 2019 Nissan Sentra can’t match. If your heart is set on a Sentra, consider the SR Turbo. It provides the performance of the NISMO model, without its boy-racer looks or price premium. It also has many of the safety and luxury features of the SL model.

Frequently Asked Questions

Sep 30, 2021

What is wrong with the 2019 Nissan Sentra?

The 2019 Nissan Sentra is a relatively new car and there have not been a lot of reported issues with them, but there are a few things that seem to still pop up from the older years. The first of these is that the engine is known to stall on these. This is commonly caused by a failed mass airflow sensor. When this sensor fails the engine will not have enough information and it will cause it to run rough and eventually stall.

Another common problem that is reported with the 2019 Sentra is that there is a problem with the radar system on the front of the vehicle. This is supposed to be able to help control the emergency braking system, but if there are any faults within the system it may lead to the brakes engaging when they should not. Usually, this can be fixed by replacing the sensors.

The final common problem with the Nissan Sentra is with the camera system. There was a recall issued about the cameras since they may fail to engage when you shift into reverse. Nissan will replace the control module and update the software as needed to get them working properly again.

How many miles will a 2019 Nissan Sentra last?

A 2019 Nissan Sentra should have no issues lasting over 200,000 miles as long as you take care of it. The biggest thing you will have to keep an eye on with a late-model Sentra is the transmission since these are known to be a weak spot in many newer Nissan vehicles.

If you want your Sentra to last a long time the most important thing you can do is keep up with the regular maintenance on it. Doing simple services such as oil changes do add years of life to your vehicle because they help reduce the wear and tear on the components in your engine. As your vehicle gets older it is even more important to keep up with these services and inspections.

Another thing you can do to help your Sentra stand up to the test of time is drive gently with it. Accelerating hard can add extra wear and tear to your engine since all of the components have to move faster, so if you want it to last you should try to keep your RPMs low. The Sentra is built to be an affordable economy sedan that can last a long time as long as you care for it.

Is the 2019 Nissan Sentra good in snow?

The 2019 Nissan Sentra does decent in the snow, but it is not going to be as good as something that has a dedicated all-wheel-drive system and more ground clearance. If you know that you will be driving on roads that are salted and cleared off regularly then the Sentra should be a fine choice, but it will not be able to do snowy mountain passes or drive through deep snow.

The Sentra does decently well in the snow because it is front-wheel-drive. The weight of the engine over the drive wheels gives it better traction than vehicles that have rear-wheel-drive. This will help you be able to stay on the road in winter conditions.

The 2019 Sentra does have 6.4 inches of ground clearance which is better than some competition, but it is still significantly lower than most crossovers and SUVs. If you know that you will be driving over obstacles and through forests in the winter then you may want to look at something that rides a bit higher.

Do 2019 Nissan Sentras have transmission problems?

The 2019 Nissan Sentra has the same CVT transmission problems that have been plaguing Nissan vehicles for years now. Nissan has moved most of their vehicles to have a CVT transmission which can give owners better fuel economy, but at the cost of reliability. That said Nissan has improved the quality of their CVTs over the years and they are not as bad as the older generations.

CVT transmissions are more complex and use a system of belts and pulleys to give you a constantly varying gear instead of direct gears like a traditional automatic. This can be great for fuel economy and responsiveness, but their complexity makes them more fragile. If a CVT breaks usually it will need to be replaced since most shops are not equipped to work on them.

There are some reports from owners saying that the CVT on their 2019 Sentras tends to disengage when they are driving at low speeds and that can lead to a loss of power. If you have this problem usually bringing the car to a stop and then starting again will fix it.

Is the 2019 Nissan Sentra better than a Corolla?

The 2019 Nissan Sentra is a direct competitor to the Toyota Corolla since they are both compact sedans made by Japanese carmakers. When you compare these two there are a lot of similarities between them in terms of size and overall fit and finish. The Sentra has the advantage of being slightly more affordable though since it has a starting price that is about $1,000 less than the Corolla.

The Sentra also has the benefit of having a better infotainment system, and a more powerful engine option available compared to the Toyota. Although the Toyota falls short in terms of infotainment it does have better safety technology than the Sentra since it has Toyota Safety Sense offered as standard.

The Corolla overall is the better sedan when it comes to mechanical aspects though. These are known to be more reliable than the Sentra and they do not have the same transmission problems that plague the Nissan. If you are in the market for a compact sedan you should check out both the Corolla and Sentra and see which one works best for you. Ultimately it comes down to a lot of personal preference in design and technology when choosing between these two compact cars.

2019 Nissan sentra one heck of a sleekly designed car for an affordable price!

I love my 2019 Nissan sentra. I get an average of 34 to 37 miles per gallon. Driving this vehicle is easy the ride is smooth and the features like the airplay, make riding to work or just to run an errand so much fun! I can see my entire apple playlist on airplay and I can hear and respond to text without taking my eyes off the road. My only regret was waiting so long to get this vehicle. I am addition to the features like the eco button to help save on the cost of fuel or the cruise control with automatic braking, this car woes even further by looking so sporty in its sleek design. I love the look of this car and when I pull up people will tell me oh that is a nice looking Nissan you have. I can hardly wait until summer so I can use my sunroom a little more but in the meantime I will continue to use the sunroof vent feature with low sound generated even on the freeway. One more thing I almost forgot the upgrade to the backup camera really helps me to know that my wheels and car are straight whenever I need to use it to park, and the side and rear blind spot detection features make me happy this is the car I chose.

2019 Sentra upgraded their interior features.

I had the 2016 Sentra and recently got the 2019 Sentra SV. The outside looks the same, except the 2019 version has fog lights. The inside is built with so many new features. My backup camera has predictive lines. I have a sunroof. I have heated seats. The radio screen is all touch screen. I have CarPlay which I am absolutely obsessed with. The 2019 Sentra comes with these little lights on the drivers right & left side. They light up orange when someone is in your blind spot & if you put your blinker on, it beeps to let you know someone is still in your blind spot.

2019 Nissan sentra sr review.

As far as comfort, not much arm space for the driver (arm rest is very small but slides forward slightly), seats are comfortable with heated seats, and enough leg room in the front not necessarily in the rear. For performance the CVT transmission sucks in my opinion, it's a slow car you are not beating anybody in a stock sentra, and it is a light weighing car. It is very reliable just got the car in November 2019 and haven’t had to get anything except oil changes.

Devanie D on August 30, 2021

My 2019 sentra pros and cons.

The 2019 Nissan sentra take is a lot better than the old sentra. They extremely good on gas. They just lose their value so fast. Don't get it if you going to trade it in later. It will be a bad move to do so because the values depreciate so fast. I bought my car on December of 2019 for 19,500.. By February 2020 my car value was already at 17 thousand. Good car, just don't get it if you not going to stick with it. Also the car is extremely small.

2019 Nissan sentra - silver.

My vehicle typically has no problems but if there is a problem it would be with the tires. I have not encountered other problems with my car this far. On a day to day basis the performance of my car is great! I have not had any problems on the car's performance on the street, highway, or anywhere else. I can always rely on my car to start and drive perfectly regardless. The car's seats are semi comfortable, there are no seat warmers.

The complications and luxuries of my Nissan sentra 2019.

My Nissan sentra is a great car. But, there are a few issues. For instance, my car is very light, as if it is made from completely plastic. My middle console (touchscreen) does not always work unfortunately. Sometimes I have to cut my car off then back on. It becomes irritating after a while. But my Nissan is very good on gas. It does not even take an entire 20 dollars to fill up the tank which is not too bad.

Ashley W on August 30, 2021

2019 Nissan sentra with great gas mileage.

My vehicle has great gas mileage and drives so smooth. It has a lot of room for me and my family. It is just the perfect car for me. It has easy radio navigation and you can connect your phone and use hands free calling which helps a lot so you do not have to use your phone. The best thing about my car that I like so far is the gas mileage.

Luke J on August 30, 2021

My 2019 Nissan sentra summary.

My vehicle has a very nice trim, has very good handling on the road and easy to maintain. The only problem with my vehicle is just the 4 speed gearbox. The interior of the car is really great with a well responsive touch display and the dual temperature gauge. Even comes with a USB port and ac vents in the center piece for the back seat.

Luke B on August 31, 2021

Nissan sentra 2019 good ride.

The car is comfortable for me to fit into. I am tall but it feels really nice to sit it. It drives really smooth. Has amazing gas mileage. I like to drive it on long trips pretty often. It is really nice to drive. I do not like the CVT in it. I wish Nissan did not do CVT it is really sluggish and it is annoying to change the fluid in it.

Jasmine C on August 31, 2021

My new affordable Nissan Sentra 2019

I love my new Nissan Sentra 2019 because it's very affordable in gas it's small and easy to park anywhere. I enjoy my drives nice and smooth love the fact I have a touchscreen and it's a pretty big screen so when using my GPS it's very helpful. I'm really enjoying my car and recommend it to anyone who likes simple small and affordable.

2019 Nissan Sentra Review

My 2019 Nissan Sentra is great! My favorite component is the eco-friendly option to reduce the amount of gas you use while you drive. My car runs smoothly when driving residentially or on the freeway. The CarPlay feature is something I also enjoy and it allows hands free use of my iPhone with the iOS interface showing on the screen.

Patty Hiltibidal on August 31, 2021

Drove my 2019 Sentra off the lot 2 weeks ago with 8 miles on it.

Last week the forward collision warning went out. Warranty covered. Yesterday service engine light came on so back to the Nissan dealer I go. Got a rental for the night. Found out today the cam valve gear is bad. Part ordered but another day in the shop. Two different problems within 2 weeks. Has me scared now!

Mari M on August 31, 2021

My 2019 Nissan sentra has seat warmers that I love. Best features of the car.

I love my 2019 Nissan sentra. It is very comfortable. Comes with seat warmers. I am a very short person so the vehicle sit up high. It comes with a touch screen radio with a GPS, Bluetooth hook up, and more. It drives very smoothly. I love the car overall. One of the best cars I have chosen in my price range.

Shaad S on August 30, 2021

2019 Nissan sentra power problems.

I drive the 1.8l sv trim sentra seems to have low torque means poor takeoff. Does not really have good power while passing or going uphill. I don't know if the weak motor lends to the poor gas mileage I get. Despite the power problems I do like the interior and the look of the car is sharp.

Amy K on August 30, 2021

2019 Nissan sentra is a great family car.

The only problem I would say about the car and it's not even a big problem would be the backup camera. It is a little blurry and it doesn't help guide you in the direction backing up or it doesn't beep when you get close to an object. The car drives so smooth. It is such a great family car.

Mike P on August 30, 2021

The 2019 Nissan Sentra SR is a good buy for the money.

Really not much negative to say. The interior is a little tight. Interior lighting could be better. Otherwise, really have no problems. It is reliable. Nice heated seats. The sound system is good. Love CarPlay feature. Lots of trunk space. It has good acceleration for a smaller engine.

Brianna G on August 31, 2021

2019 Nissan sentra is good.

The Nissan sentra 2019 is a really good car. I find that is drives nice and the braking is good. The backup camera helps me a lot. Bluetooth audio is great, but I do find that it will just shut off on me randomly. The car cools down and heats up quickly. The backseat is very spacious.

Tammy L on August 31, 2021

2019 Nissan sentra. Snowflake white.

Smooth ride. Nice features. Easy to use digital features. USB capability so you can play your own playlist. Electric windows. Leather heated seats. Safety feature to let you know when you are too close to a vehicular or if one is coming up beside you. Making it safer to change lanes.

Camila S on August 31, 2021

The Nissan Sentra 2019 is an affordable nice looking car.

The repair pieces for this vehicle are easily replaceable, easy to find and low cost. The gas performance is amazing, and it is overall good. I have had some troubles with the battery and some electric problems but they were easy solvable and not really expensive. Is a small car.

Barbara W on August 31, 2021

2019 Nissan sentra: the car for me!

The inside of the vehicle is comfortable. Buttons, and feature controls are easily accessible. The gas mileage is good. The vehicle handles the road well and provides a smooth ride. Bluetooth menu is good. Plugs for phone charging and other media good and easily accessible.

Jasmine N on August 30, 2021

Nissan sentra sl 2019 great!

It is comfortable but takes time to speed up. It is a great beginner’s car. The touch screen feature is great and it has a really spacious trunk. I have had no huge problems with this vehicle and would definitely recommend it for any beginner drivers out there.

Melissa H on August 30, 2021

2019 Nissan sentra-superb convenience features for the price

It's not the most comfortable car but reliability and performance are spot on for the price range. It has all the features I was looking for: Bluetooth, rearview camera, cruise control, and steering wheel controls. I wish it had Sirius XM however and power seats.

Jean G on August 30, 2021

2019 sentra: an excellent choice when looking for a new car.

This is the 2nd sentra I have leased. Beautiful interior sold me on this car. It is good on gas. It handles well on the highway. Sporty lines make it an attractive car and the gun metal gray is an appealing color.. I would recommend it to anyone who asks..

Maria M on August 30, 2021

This 2019 Nissan sentra sv is everything you could ever want and need in a car.

Apple airplay, Bluetooth and satellite radio. Rear reverse camera and a front braking safety feature. Perfect car for new drivers or someone who wants a reliable and efficient car.

A great car at a great price.

It is a simple car that does what I need it to. I originally wanted an Altima but Nissan has really changed the Altimas so I went with the sentra. I like the back up camera and the acceleration. Handling is smooth and responsive. The sound system is bare bones but it still sounds good to me.

Eric S on June 24, 2021

The gas mileage, repeatedly the gas mileage.

The 2019 Nissan sentra is a joy to drive. The best feature I think is the gas mileage and gas performance. I can fill up the tank and go from Columbia SC to charlotte NC with a quart of a tank to still go. Love the hands free and all the power charging options from USB to the standard adaptor plug. It is a great car.

Brytania M on June 23, 2021

2019 Nissan sentra, a safe and reliable vehicle!

The vehicle is very comfortable and reliable. It is inexpensive as far as oil changes and parts, and it gets great gas mileage. The backup camera is amazing, and I love the Bluetooth capabilities. The only issue we’ve had is that the rubber gasket around the rear driver side door came apart very shortly after we bought it, so that was a bit of a nuisance. It has some really great safety features, like the collision notification if you are getting too close to another vehicle.

JAIRO R on June 21, 2021

Shannon M on June 16, 2021

It has a good mix of features/options for the price.

It is fine. It meets my basic expectations of getting me where I need to go. I do not love it but I do not hate it. I really like the apple CarPlay and the heated seats. I dislike the color I ended up with (gray). I like having a sunroof but find I do not use it all that often. I wish it had power seats and a heated steering wheel. I like that it has automatic headlights and a smart key.

Wesley K on June 16, 2021

A reliable car that is fun to drive.

The performance of the car is excellent as it drives smoothly and it is reliable. The only issue I have with the car is the radar sensor where it beeps when I am turning, telling me that there is a car in front me when there is not. That is my only complaint.

Tuan P on June 8, 2021

Great car, not looking for anything new anytime soon.

Super comfortable and reliable vehicle. No problems with it yet. Currently only gripe is that it is not a keyless start ignition but that is negligible considering how nice the car is otherwise. Drives really nice, quiet, just took it in for service and it is got a clean bill of health.

Alex K on June 3, 2021

Review of a Nissan sentra.

No problems with it at all, performance is great, reliable all the time, I would highly recommend a car like this to anybody because it is worth it without a doubt. It is a very safe car to have all together... If you were looking into buying a car, you need to get a Nissan sentra. Very reliable, performance is great, very comfortable car to be in.

Iris S on June 3, 2021

Great vehicle for a single person!

I like that the Nissan sentra appears like a 'small' vehicle. However, it has plenty of room but can be small for someone over 5'10. It is quiet comfortable and spacey with all five seats occupied. I like all the features the car has including a rare view camera. One thing I do not really like is sometimes it takes awhile to speed up. Overall I love my car and all the features it has. It is a great car for a single person.

Abrianna T on May 31, 2021

Small and low to the ground. The car is very fast and rides very smooth.

My car is very low to the ground, therefore anytime I hit anything it messes with the sensors. The car is good on gas mileage. The Bluetooth feature is good and picks up well most of the time. There are times that the Bluetooth will have a hard time picking up on my phone and that is annoying at times. The car is very good at giving alerts when the system notices a problem.

Jessica H on May 29, 2021

Gets really good gas mileage.

Seemed like a decent car when it was purchased. Have had to have a few things replaced, a motion sensor, and left front speaker. There’s always a sound like air is coming through the passenger side window in the backseat. They said the seals are fine it just sounds like that.

Chris S on May 21, 2021

Simple but efficient design.

Body is fragile but good mileage. It is convenient and a good size without being too big. Not too many extra gadgets. The car has a simple design and the car drives well with good control and design. Good space in the car and storage in the trunk.

Angela M on May 21, 2021

Reliable and comfortable car.

This Nissan is a very reliable and comfortable car. I highly recommend it to everyone. It drives smooth and I haven't had any problems with it. The service people at Nissan are great to deal with and super helpful. The key fob did have an issue but they fixed it.

Pamela F on May 20, 2021

The seatbelt indicator noise does not work. How awesome is that?

I love everything about my Nissan except the fact that it is a 4 cylinder. It is good on gas, it is reliable, it is comfortable. If you are short like me ( 5 feet tall) the side view mirror is a hindrance when trying to make a left turn. I suppose if you sat on a pillow that would eliminate that issue, but I do not like pillows. I have a basic model but that includes all the features I need.

Kelsey S on May 19, 2021

Our best car in the family.

My car drives very smooth. It is a 2019 grey Nissan sentra. It has silver rims. It is a comfortable traveling car for long road trips. It has heated seats on the passenger and drivers side. It has a Bluetooth speaker. It has a siri. It has a screen to show the GPS. I have not had a problem with this car after having it for over a year. It is my most reliable car in the family and I expect to have it for years.

Shann M on May 18, 2021

Pleased with the sensual sentra.

The sentra has great gas mileage, comfortable and heated seats, and a larger trunk. Great screen for phone and GPS usage. Power windows and locks are standard, but an advancement from my last car! The only problem I have had with my car included an electrical glitch, but was easily fixed with an update.

Jessica L on May 16, 2021

2019 Nissan sentra - the best little car except in the desert.

The car overall is outstanding however there is an issue with the air conditioning. I live in a hot desert climate that for 2 months out of the year humidity can be high. Just a few weeks ago we hit the high 120s with humidity at 26% and above on a daily basis. What I learned is that not only can the ac not keep up but it will start blowing scorching hot air in your face. When I brought it to the dealership to be checked I was told the car was fine that unfortunately their air conditioning systems just would not work with that heat/humidity combo.

Tiffany L on May 15, 2021

It is okay for someone with a small family but I think there are better options.

Supposed to be a new car but has lots of problems. No armrest in the back or air vents. There are charging ports on the back which is cool. Pretty decent amount of space. Does not have a spot for CDs but it does have Bluetooth. Only one seat in the back has a pocket. There’s a pretty good amount of space in the trunk.

Adriana P on May 12, 2021

Smooth drive and actually warns you about everything that is important.

This has been the best vehicle that I have own. Love that it has all around warnings when you are too close to cars. Also it has a rear camera that helps when reversing never use my mirror to reverse. The only thing is that the tires get flat when the weather changes. It is great in gas and you cannot even tell the car is on because it does not make any noise at all.

Moises C on May 11, 2021

It is a high recommendation to get once you have good experience in driving.

It is really smooth in the brakes and stirring. Has Bluetooth installed, emergency break, and great feeling in the seat cushion just makes rides more better. It is a really great looking model for people who do not go out often but still have the feeling of having a nice car for anyplace.

Josh E on May 11, 2021

The gas mileage is best, second to none. 30 miles per gallon.

It is always been dependable. Never broke down. Not super slow when trying to get around. It is really great on gas and gets 30 miles per gallon on average. The radio is really nice and is touch screen. The speakers are nice and clear when I play my music.

Nujsisloob V on May 11, 2021

Best $13,000 I have spent.

I love the look of the exterior, specifically the sporty looking bottom 'lip' that is also color matched with the whole car. The other feature that I really enjoy is the apple CarPlay/android auto infotainment system. I use it everyday for music and maps whenever I am traveling. The car is not the best in terms of power, but the mpg is much better than my previous vehicle. I can get from 1/4 of tank to full with only around $16 or more at the current gas prices ($1.93-$2.00).

The ups and the downs of having a Nissan.

I love the Nissan drives, I have also driven a rogue at work. They are very smooth cars to drive. They have great gas mileage. This one is going to sound a bit weird but I really enjoy the sound system in them. The one thing I have notices is they seem to have transmission problems early on, even with regular maintenance.

This car is great on gas!

I just got my car recently and I haven't run into any problems. This car has great performance and reliability. Super comfy and it comes with a back up camera. Good trunk space and spacious back seat. This car is also the best on gas. I can fill my tank with $20 at most.

My car has a pearly finish and the tires are really nice.

I love my Nissan sentra. It is a brand new car and I have not had any issues with it so far minus getting a new tire due a nail in it. My car feels very safe to drive with its features. It rides smoothly and the music sounds good as well. It is a shiny silver and since it is a special edition, it also has a moon roof which I like.

cordell G on May 1, 2021

My first car is pretty great ??.

My car has great mpg I only have to fill up maybe once a week. The only problem I have had so far was a brake switch going bad but the problem was quickly fixed and I haven't had any more problems since. Thankfully the car measures tire pressure and lets me know if there is a problem or if I just need to get air. The seats are very soft and I have plenty of leg room when I am driving.

Nicolas F on April 30, 2021

Great car for safety and reliability.

It is a great car that is great for safe drivers. It has a lot of cool features like rear view camera to help safely park. It has a sensor in the front to help reduce a potential crash. It has a screen inside that you can hook your phone up to that will allow you to display GPS and music. Even though I would prefer if it was built in without me needing my phone for that feature. Great speakers and bass. Superb handling, turns felt pretty smooth. Has great acceleration and brakes. Other than nitpicks about the screen features it is overall a great car.

Chelsea B on April 28, 2021

Great and compact vehicle for all your daily needs.

I mean its a 4 cylinder so it's not super fast but I love the back up camera and the size and the screen in front. I wish it had the feature where it can save up to 2 seat settings and just switches to whoever is driving. It is a great car on gas I get almost 400 miles on a full tank.

I love it, everything runs great! I got a great deal on the car with an amazing warranty as well! The car is very spacious despite its small body! The sv is nice but I would of rather had the sr! I would definitely splurge for the 2020 where they changed the body and the interior!

Nissan sentra 2019. Great vehicles.

Great compact car. Decent mileage. Clunky steering. Apple CarPlay freezes sometimes. No auto headlights on s trim. No button to open car from outside. Seats are comfortable. Handling in rough weather is a little slow. No moonroof or remote start. Would love to see remote start on a trim.

Perfect car for commuting.

I really enjoy my car. It is very dependable I commute to work and it takes about an hour going to work and another hour coming home from work and my car has never failed me once. It is a really great car to keep in mind when thinking of buying a new car. The interior design is very beautiful I thought I would hate leather seating during the summer but for the very first time the leather seating in my car does not burn when getting in which is such a great feature. The Bose speakers that come with it are also very amazing my music is very clear and it sounds amazing. Gas mileage on the car is great as well, because I work a little far I needed a car that was good on gas and I got that with this car and filling it up does not even cost as much especially in the economy today car like this is perfect.

Overall this is a great car. For about twenty dollars, I can fill up the entire tank. An entire tank gets me about four hundred twenty miles. It rides smooth and there is a lot of room throughout the entire car. It also has a decent sound system. So far no problems.

2019 Nissan sentra; best purchase of my young adult life!

Love my 2019 Nissan sentra! It has all the bells and whistles without the added cost. It runs well and I never have to work about anything other than general maintenance. I have never had a problem with it and I have been very satisfied with the purchase so far. Cannot go wrong with a Nissan!

Nissan sentra sv has cool features.

I love that my car is great on gas mileage, has lots of trunk space and really nice features, like dual ac controls and a moonroof. It is comfortable enough to drive for long periods, even for my 6'4' boyfriend. The only thing it lacks is a heated seat or steering wheel.

Nissan sentra, poorly made.

The vehicle’s Bluetooth is terrible. It constantly turns off on its own so I am never able to truly listen to my music. The car is also cheaply made. However, it is great on gas, which is a plus! The gas saver is truly the best thing about the car, other than that, there is not enough features and the features that is does have are poorly made.

The Nissan sentra is a great family car, extremely comfortable.

I am extremely satisfied with our vehicle. It is comfortable, drives great. It is a smooth ride. Several different features my favorite of course is the backup camera, it is great for road trips with the family looks real nice on the road, it also has spacious room in the trunk.

Great car with spacious elements and a very safe drive.

Really nice car! Drives very smooth. Spacious interior and sleek exterior. Back up mirror helps so much especially if you are inexperienced with parallel parking. Saves you tons of money on gas and feels very safe to drive. Has USB ports in the back for charging and cup holders as well. Trunk very spacious as well.

Great mileage on gas awesome body type.

I like the excellent performance, stylish design makes it look expensive but is not. Great on gas! That is why I continue to choose Nissan. The comfort is extremely good a lot of legroom. You cannot beat the price with its overall awesome body type, mileage and performance.

A quick review of a 2019 Nissan sentra.

I have no real issues except that the mpg is not as good as they say it is, and the driver assistance for braking does not always work well. It is a very comfortable car though, I have had no issues with reliability and love the Bluetooth features and the extra charging port in the middle console.

Reliable, no problems, easy to understand.

There's been a few recalls of my car. Heater and ac work wonderfully and fast. I enjoy having the rear camera to reverse park. Despite the recalls, my car has never given me problems. Especially during winter in Wisconsin. This car is something you would want if you are looking for anything reliable.

My vehicle is nice, I love the color of it, it's a dark grey with nice rims.

My car is in good terms just have to check up on it every day make sure it runs well. Oil check every 3 months and rotation of tires as well. The gas is good, it saves a lot not like most cars. Overall it's a good car to use to get you around places. Just have to take care of it very well.

My Nissan sentra review. It's excellent!

Love the car. Its dependable and good on gas mileage and saves a lot of money. It's not a big car but it's also not a tight fit it's a perfect size for a small family of 3. The price is decent it's not overpriced and I feel like you get your money's worth for what you say.

Everything you want and need!

This 2019 Nissan sentra sv is everything you could ever want and need in a car. Apple airplay, Bluetooth and satellite radio. Rear reverse camera and a front braking safety feature. Perfect car for new drivers or someone who wants a reliable and efficient car.

Nissan sentra sv review white, seat warmers and other nice features.

I love my Nissan sentra. I have never had any issues with it and it runs very smoothly. It always gets me where I need to go and I feel like the tank lasts a pretty good amount of time. The gas is not too expensive. Overall the car has a very luxurious feel for an affordable price. My car has seat warmers and a few upgrades. It is extremely comfortable especially for long drives. I would feel very comfortable taking a road trip in it because it is an extremely reliable car and has never given me any issues.

Overall the vehicle is good.

It drives smooth and has a comfortable ride. The car is very reliable but has a problem with the front sensor and it goes comes on that it needs service. The sensor has been recalled and needs to be replaced again. I am not a big fan of the auto stop because it has almost gotten me hit from behind so I turn it off.

2019 Nissan sentra sv. Perfect for on road cruising and commuting.

My 2019 Nissan sentra sv with the CVT transmission has so far been a good vehicle. The first problem I had with it has been the transmission. Good for comfortable driving but not meant for any performance what’s so ever. And at times I find that it is a tad underpowered when going up more than a slight incline. And definitely had less power than cars of the same price point from other brands. However, the aeb system has made for some close calls and helped me avoid accidents more than once. It does not have a lot of tech features but it does have the backup camera and apple CarPlay stereo which I really appreciate. The seats are comfortable and the front seats have plenty of legroom for a 5’ 10” person and a little less room for someone of the same size in the back. All in all, it has been a reliable car so far. I have 17,000 miles on it.
