THE EVENING TIMES, FRIDAY, MAY 27, 1966 PAGE FIVE Sayre Churches To Combine Vacation School Four Sayre churches will combine for a Vacation Bible School for a period of two weeks beginning June 13 and continuing until Jo June 14 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m, at the Sayre Methodist Church. Participating churches will be Methodist, Presbyterian, Episcopal and the Sayre Christian.

Classes will be held for kindergarten, primary, junior and junior high school children. A nursery will be provided and transportation will be furnished for those who need it. Parents of children of different churches are asked to send their children to these sessions. Mrs. Kenneth Hufford and Rev.

Paul E. Diehl will be co-directors. Youth in Industry Program Held By County Club A "Youth in Industry" program sponsored by the Bradford County Industrial Management Club has been completed at Wyalusing Valley High School. The program was a special project of the club with Arthur F. Yard, Claverack Electric Co-op, Towanda, as committee chairman and was supervised and conducted through the cooperation of the Wyalusing Valley High School.

the American Meter Company, in Wyalusing and Gerald Nelson of Tunkhannock, the Northeast District Director of the Pennsylvania YMCA and also a member of the Bradford County club. The program is an annual affair conducted at various high schools throughout the county and is intended to give high school students a greater knowledge of the basic economics of local industries and the benefits of the free enterprise system. The instructors for the course were N. Dean Starner, a member of the faculty at the school; Mr. Nelson, who acted as moderator; Robert E.

Carey, factory accountant of the American Meter Company in Wyalusing, Gerald Johnson, cashier of the Peoples State Bank of Wyalusing. All are members of the Bradford County Industrial Management Club. The program consisted of four 90- minute sessions of presentation and discussion on the basic aspects of our economic system, covering such topics as competition and survival, sales, wages, supply and demand, risk investment, money and credit, profit, prices, incentive and taxes. The program was concluded with a plant tour of the American Meter Company factory at Wyalusing. Beatrice Meyer Honored by Fellow Employes Beatrice Meyer, who will retire at the end of this month after working for 20 years in the eye, ear, nose and throat department at the Rober Packer Hospital and Guthrie Clinic, was honored at a surprise combination birthday and retirement party held Wednesday night at the Red Jacket Motel on Route 17.

Dr. Henry D. Rentschler, head of the department, presented Miss Meyer with a money purse on behalf of her fellow workers, and Mrs. Betty Coviello presented her with an orchid corsage. Attending the party were Dr.

Dacey of Elmira were married Thursday afternoon, May 26, in Elmira. Mrs. Dacey is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ackley of Athens.

She is traffic manager-announcer at radio station WEHH, Elmira Heights-Horseheads. Mr. Dacey is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo T.

Dacey of Elmira. He is announcer at radio station WENY, Elmira. Attendants were Miss Paula Ackley of Athens, sister of the bride, and Patrick B. Dacey of Elmira, brother of the bridegroom. A reception was held following the ceremony at the home of the bride's parents, 740 South Main Athens.

Spicer Condition Still 'Guarded' The condition of Clarence Lynn Spicer, 43, of Waverly RD 2, who was critically injured when his car crashed into a tractor-trailer near Smithboro early yesterday morning, is still "guarded."
